Ready to roll up your sleeves and put envision’s CHW Financial Sustainability Toolkit to work?
This interactive, hands-on session with one of the authors will move beyond learning about the CHW FST and sustainable financing strategies to help you apply the tools to real-world CHW priorities.
Together, we’ll explore how braided and blended funding can bring multiple resources and partners together to sustain CHW positions and programs—and, importantly, how CHWs can use this knowledge to advocate for sustainable financing and influence the people who make funding decisions.
Through interactive activities and practical examples, participants will practice identifying potential funding pathways, recognizing key partners, and making the case for investing in and sustaining CHW work.
By the end, participants should be able to:
Recognize the different ways CHW work can be financed and support the full range of CHW work.
Identify who makes financing decisions in their organization, community or for a chosen strategy and what information those decision-makers need.
Begin developing an advocacy strategy that connects CHW impact and community priorities to potential funding and financing strategies.
