Sarah Covington-Kolb is an accomplished public health manager with over 20 years of experience in public health project implementation, research coordination, professional workforce development, and grant oversight. With expertise in perinatal health, adult education, and program evaluation, she is passionate about improving health outcomes and equity through impactful health initiatives at local, state, and international levels. She has managed over $6 million in grant-funded projects, and co-authored more than 18 peer-reviewed publications. Outcomes of these projects and studies include decreased racial inequities in birth outcomes, clinical quality improvements, financial returns on investment, and psycho-social well-being in the perinatal period. She has facilitated training for over 400 healthcare professionals, including prenatal care providers and community health workers, with exceptional results in learner certification and program accreditation. For over ten years she has provided mentorship and programmatic support to more than 25 clinical sites statewide to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
