Soledad Bolden is a respected Community Health Worker, CHW Program Consultant, with over nine years of experience advancing health equity and workforce development. She plays an instrumental role in the Southeast Community Health Worker Network (SECHWN), supporting collaborative strategies across eleven states to build CHW capacity, strengthen certification pathways, and amplify the collective voice of CHWs.

Soledad brings a unique blend of educational expertise and grassroots advocacy to her work. A former Middle School Science Teacher and district-wide instructional leader, she holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a Master’s in Secondary Education from Brooklyn College. Her foundation in education drives her ongoing passion for mentoring, training, and supporting emerging leaders in the community.

As a consultant, she provides guidance on best practices for CHW programs across regions, specializing in strategic planning, program implementation, technical assistance, and community-centered engagement. Soledad is known for her ability to foster innovation, cultivate inclusive spaces, and lead with authenticity and excellence.

In all of her work, she centers the lived experiences of CHWs and uplifts community voices through storytelling, mentorship, and capacity building. Whether supporting local initiatives or shaping national conversations, Soledad remains deeply committed to advancing equity, sustainability, and recognition for the CHW workforce.
