Overview - Who is this for?

Whether you are a community leader, organizational leader, researcher, funder, or change agent, this workshop will help build your capacity. Participants will walk away with practical tools, a deeper understanding, and real-life examples that can be applied to their work.

What is this?

This unique 2-day in-person workshop is designed to equip participants with the tools and strategies they need to engage communities in ways that are meaningful and intentional to address inequities and improve health outcomes.

  • Led by Community Health Workers/Community Champions/Leaders, this interactive workshop offers hands-on learning and real conversations.

Participants in the academy will gain the following:

    • Effective strategies to meaningfully engage those they served, especially individuals and communities most impacted by inequities.

    • Tools and approaches for intentionally elevating and incorporating community voice into their work.

    • A deeper understanding of how to shift engagement practices to improve outcomes and drive lasting, community-led change.
